Made it to Mueller , Plateau at 1,800m asl. Was a Day trip and was past 5pm as we started late in the am and had to go back. Pace of each person trekking in the group varies and had to factor that in . We should have booked a night at the hut. Well great day. Blazing sun and burned my neck and arms. Ozone and UV seems different than the tropics. there we sweat a lot. 1st half up was a killer with the steps then second half from sealy tarns was tricky with scrambling up loose rocks, snow patch, boulder hopping, steep sections. For the experienced not the beginner.
Views at the top of sealy range was worth it. Witnessed an avalanche across. thunder rumbling sounds... On the way down one has to connect the markers by sight. not to be done at night. one could fall off or get to the wrong track if not observant.
