Mount Francais
Mount Francais forms the summit of Anvers Island, Antarctica. Anvers Island is a high, mountainous island 38 miles long, and is home to Palmer Station, Antarctica's only U.S. station north of the Antarctic Circle. Mount Francais stands southeast of the center of the island, six miles north of Borgen Bay. It was first seen by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition, who explored the southeast coast of the island in 1898 and was later sighted by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1903-05, under Charcot, who named it for the expedition ship Francais.
