This was my third climb to Guajara, this time from the south side. I started at Vilaflor village, which is at 1435 meters above the sea level, the highest village in Spanish territories. I was on the summit almost 5 hours later and I was suffering from the altitude effects. This was surprising because I climbed it before, and I also climbed the nearby Teide which is 1000 meters higher. Stunning views.
