Started from Chinook Pass about 10:30 AM, following the Pacific Crest Trail to the highest spot east of Naches Peak. Just a little farther south along the PCT, paths branch out in all direction. Locate the path heading east along the ridge. If you fail to find this path (hint, hint) expect to do some energy-wasting route-finding at the start of the ridge. Eventually you will run into it. This path runs the entire length of the ridge to the summit. Once I steered off the PCT, I did not encounter anyone. Weather was gorgeous!!! Returned to Chinook Pass around 3:30 PM, so 5 hours total. That was at a very leisurely pace with lunch time at the summit, and time to stop for lots of pictures.
