Copper Point is a small peak located south of Washington Pass and the Liberty Bell group. Its situated between Copper Pass and Kangaroo Pass at the head of Kangaroo Basin, opposite Wallaby Peak. It was used as a survey triangulation station and has a USGS benchmark. Easily visible from the North Cascades Highway at Washington Pass area as a distinctive pyramid shape. Copper Point sits at the heads of Copper Creek, Early Winters Creek, and North Fork of Twisp River in a scenic setting, but not quite within North Cascades National Park. It's within the Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness area.
