Volcan Pacaya

You must be logged in to add a peak to your list of climbed peaks.

Volcan Pacaya is a walk-up, but an adventure nonetheless.  One can literally walk to the edge of the active volcano and peak down into the crater. There is no lava. It is windy, smoky and hot.  The most common approach is with a tour guide out of Antigua. Thus, most of the climbers are gringos.
