north ridge w/gendarme. excellent climb -fun and consistently moderate 5th class climbing. done in approach shoes, except for the gendarme which is very positive, clean and well protected. a fixed piece on the offwidth pitch keeps it short -great exposure! expect bivy sites along the route, especially on the south side of the summit ridge. the 3 of us got caught in a windstorm so we bivied comfortably under the summit block, and cruised down the cascadian in the morning. the west ridge was another recommended descent, as there are only 2 raps w/moderate downclimbing -short and direct bringing you quickly back to ingalls lake. there was no water/ice on the route at this time.
