It were great day out. We summited top haveing been chased by goats for a half mile via the Lords Rake. On reaching the top we laid out a blanket for lunch. It was right funny as we got our lunch boxes mixed up and I got my friends lunch which were marmite sandwiches which I hate. Anyway after some cross words (we were both quite tired) we swapped back and merrily chewed our way through two rounds of well deserved sangers. Oh and a lovely chicken drumstick.
We walked back down, slip sliding for most of it, it bloody rained which was fun as we only had shorts and t-shirt; it were hot at bottom!; and enjoyed a lovely half pint of bitter at Wasdale Head In.
Grate, lovely summit.
Good luck to all fellow climbers,
