If you should happen upon the village of San Fransisco, there is a stunning river course and waterfall three km along the road to the north of the village. Swimming in the river downstream of the falls proved very refreshing, although watch out for the voracious biting flies that leave their mark in the form of a small speck of blood and some minor swelling. The bites are exremely irritating, however, the flies can be deterred with normal insect repelant.
