Thanks to Craig Peer for adding this peak.
The major feature of this peak are the two snow / ice couloirs on the northeastern side. The left hand couloir is 800' and easier. The right hand ice gully is 1400' and 55' with class 4 rock at the top.
Sorry, we don't currently have the latitude and longitude of Checkered Demon in our database. Therefore we can't show this peak on a map.

Craig Peer on June 16, 2000Climbed this gully roped and moved together placing pro without belaying. Enabled us to pass another party. Difficult finish up rotton rock. Down climbed the eastern couloir - not too hard.
