We left the barrels at 2am and summited shortly before 8am; three days later I climbed the east summit - it is absolutely worth the climb - despite some metal-debris on the summit. if you start early enough you can be there at sunrise and you will be all by yourself. absolutely stunning! don't underestimate the mountain. the day before we summited, one polish climber died and an Austrian Team got lost (including their Russian mountain guide!). They just made it back because the sky cleared in the late afternoon! Keep a close eye on the weatherforecast!
