- Signed By: Arnoud ten Haaft
- Date submitted: August 29, 2000
On the 16th of august 1995 a small Dutch group of 5 persons climbed Mt. Elbrus east summit (5643m) from the village Elbrus at 1660m. Two of our group also climbed the West summit. For this climb we took 5 days including a acclimatisation trip to the Pastuchov Rocks, and our descent to the Baksan valley. We had a perfect day with views from the summit all the way from the Black Sea up to the Caspian Sea.
