Summited via the north ridge on a wild windy start to the day, as we approached 1000 feet we hit driving snow but carried on regardless. It was good scrambling and you can make this as difficult or as easy as you like.We started on milestone buttress which was excellent fun.At the summit we waited for a lull in the weather and got it after 20 minutes.
It was our intention of going on to Bristly Ridge and the glyders but on the descent the southern side was sheet glass with ice and we decided against the route planned and descended via the LLyn back to the car park .
Three hours fantastic summit and when the weather cleared fantastic views, good scrambling ...Is this a perfect mountain for a Quickie
