We were a group of 10 climbers from Florida (elevation 30'). Six of ten summitted on the eigth day in country. One stayed at high camp, one turned back at the halfway point because of a major unstoppable nose bleed, two made it halfway up the east summit face and ran out of gas, six made it to the top. Specatucular views and just incredible weather. We waited nearly two hours at the summit face because of the high number of climbers. We had a support group of seven- 3 guides, 1 cook, and 3 camp aides. Gonzalo Jaimes (Andean Ascents) was our main guide and was fantastic. Last year we did not make the summit because of lousy weather. Next year we plan on doing Sajama- remote and high.
