Joined a group from Italy that wanted to climb in 2 days vs. 4 days. Turns out to be 24 hours. We drove to Puente Roto 14,800' and started hike to hight camp a 2pm. Arrived Nido de Condors 17,880' 8pm in hail storm, feel lightning thru my tent pole while setting up my tent. Rested a little, started getting ready 12:30am and climbing by 2am. 6" new snow fell that night. Daniel and I only ones to summit 21,200', 8am. Then down to high camp and break camp, then all the way down to jeep at Puente Roto by 2pm. 24 hours - too fast. I wished i'd of taken more time to enjoy instead of push so hard. But, glad I made it. Georgio and Jose turned around at 19,000' - not feeling well. Daniel and I only ones to summit this day. Physically, the hardest thing I've ever done."
