Mt. Brewers location allows views of most of the major peaks of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. An ascent to the summit up the south side is not difficult.

    Climbed this peak and those around it to get familiar with the explorations of the Whitney Survey. Our '91 hike was from Ea Creek up to the notch in the ridge north of the summit. Fun scramble.

    My first big mountain, summited from the east via Ouzel Creek, full packs, descended down to and out of the Sphinx drainage....I'm hooked.
