Thanks to Olof Lindquist for adding this peak.
Fine peak towering over Pfelderer Tal in South Tyrol, with the characteristic and decorative Planferner glacier straddling the main Oetztal ridge north of the summit - the only glacier visible on the Italian side. The north-west, Austrian side of the ridge is heavily glaciated however. Short trekking route to the summit from the Italian Zwickauer hut; some easy scrambling and somewhat exposed at a few spots.
NOTE: Trip reports were previously called "Summit Logs" - same feature, new name
There are 2 trip reports for Hinterer Seelenkogel.

- Log #15528 - by Olof Lindquist on Oct 08, 2000From Zwickauer hut by the East Ridge: a marked, short trekking route with a few delicate spots (mostly fixed wires at exposed places). A beautiful climb, exciting but not difficult. Fine views.
