Set off from Trevelez at 8am.Cold clear morning before the village awoke.Followed the track up from the village,fairly steep for the fisrt 800m.
Reached the summit road by 11.30am and first saw the summit.The air was getting thinner all the time.
Snow covered the summit and arrived at 2pm.Great views both North to Granada and Central Spain,also south to the Med and the Atlas Mountains.
Decsend off the East ridge alot of snow,beautiful tarns in the col.
Arrived back in Trevelez at 6pm.Very Tired and the light had turned to pitch black.
Me and my father enjoyed a celebrating drink in the local bar.
