Thanks to Francisco J, Garza for adding this peak.

This peak is the highest point of the Sierra de la Eme or Chipinque, which is the southern limit of the city of Monterrey and it is part of the Sierra Madre Oriental. Despite it's closeness to the city and the damage caused by several wildfires, the most recent one in 1998, this place hasn`t lost it`s beauty. The trail starts at the entrance of the "Parque Ecológico Chipinque" and traverses it to the east where it gets steep and then you have to climb up some rocky walls (60-70 degrees)on the last 200 meters below the summit. Most of the trail is surrounded by oak, pine, and cedar forests. From the top you can see the whole city of Monterrey to the north and the Sierra Madre to the south.
