Kekes is the highest peak of Hungary (3328 feet/1015 meters). You can see that it is not a big mountain (I'd rather call it a hill) and it is very easy to climb, in fact you don't need to have any special abilities to climb it. In the winter it is beautiful, usually there is some snow, while in the summer it is a bit cooler up there.
There is a weather phenomenon in November and December, when down in the cities there is fog and it is cold, while up on the Kekes it is sunny and relatively warm and the weather is clean. If you are lucky you are able to see the higher peaks of the neigbouring Bukk range (only 40-50 kms away from Kekes).
