Aubineua Peak

This Peak is a false peak to the north of Humphreys Peak. The best ascent on this mountain is starting at the trail head heading to the Inner Basin then head right at the Juction that leads to Bear Jaw Canyon. Then when you get to the ridge start to hike up about 2,000 feet to the top of Rees Peak(11,474). Hike over Rees and down the saddle. From the saddle its 600 feet through scatterd vegitation, loose gravel slopes and over large rocks, to the top of Aubineua Peak. Another way is to hike Humphreys and hike north to Aubineua.
