At this night we started at school hut about 4800m high. It really was heavy snowfall from midnight when we started to climb the summit of Kilimanjaro. Till 4 o clock we had this heavy smow fall and we had a hard time to climb. At 6 30 a.m. we had a wonderful sunrise and half an hour later we reached Gilmans Point 5695m high. Because of the snow we werevery tired an did not continue to Uhuru Peak. Never the less we were very glad that we had reached one of the summits of Kilimanjaro and had a wunderful time in the Serengeti the week after. It was my first time on a mountain higher the 4500 meters.
