Punta Rossa

A straight-forward ascent along the broad North-East Ridge, although in heavy snow there are cornices over the South Face, a sheer 400m drop. The view is spectacular, with virtually every Alpine 4000m peak visible on clear days. Part of Gran Paradiso National Park.
