This is one of the NH 48 four thousand footers and is a classic hike. The nearest road is nearly 10 miles from the summit making this a long dayhike. The summit itself is dramatic and known as one of the best viewing platforms in the White Mountains. The AT runs just North along the Twinway giving easy access from there. Its a small mountain but certainly worthwhile from any direction.
