What a mountain, beautiful. An almost-perfect pyramid of snow, final approach via a knife-edge ridge (unless you are brave/skilled enough to do the Directissima). Approach is via a long slog up to a false summit, then a scramble down about 100m of fairly easy rock, before the last 5 rope pitches of 45 degree slope (fixed rope, if you have guides to do it). No problem... until you're on the way back, when it's a real pain to have to climb back up the rocks before you can descend to base. But a really great climb, maybe my favourite ever.
