Thanks to Alessio Lokar for adding this peak.

It is the highest elevation of a fairly long range going in the direction EAST-WEST. The southern slope is in Slovenia and is not very steep, the northern slope is in Italy and is formed by an abrupt north-face extending almost along the whole range. The mountain is very pictoresque and has on the north slope also small glaciers and snow fields, remaining durin g the whole summer. From both sides, the NORTH and the SOUTH one there are cable-ways reaching around 2000 mt height, thus enabling the trip to the summit and to other peaks in the range.

Sorry, we don't currently have the latitude and longitude of Canin in our database. Therefore we can't show this peak on a map.
