Hati Khollu is a remote mountain, considering it is only 20 miles outside of La Paz. We had our own transport and drove to the end of the road that follows the Iripavi vally and goes right at Palcoma. From the car we biked for 30 minutes. Next it was a 2 hour hike to the Jacha Quisiri Khota, a turquoise colored lake. From there it is an hour to the glacier lake. We took the route to the right of the lake, as the glacier was pretty sketcy on the left. Next we headed toward the cleanest looking face that probably approached 60 degrees. After getting up to the ridge it was an hour to the rocky area. We roped up for the last part, and made it to the top after 7 hours from the car.
