We flew in to Kantishna on 26 March 1975 and skied over McGonnegal Pass. Most of our supplies were taken to the Lower Icefall on the Muldrow by dogsled. We followed the usual Muldrow route then climbed Karstens Ridge. We were caught by a bad storm at Browne Tower and spent 3 days camped 50 feet down inside a crevasse. The crevasse was narrow at the top but widen to 15 feet. We packed out the floor, filled in the holes, dug a cave and set up a tent.
We reached the summit on 21 April, not having seen any other climbers on the mountain. We descended the West Buttress and were flown out on 27 April.
