Thanks to Paul Fenwick for adding this peak.
Peak sits just North of Highland Lakes. An established trail leads from the parking lot at the lower lake to the summit (south approach). A summit bid can also be made from the East, however loose scree climbing will be done the last 400 feet. This peak offers views of the Carson Iceburg Wilderness and well as the surrounding areas of beauty. Total evelvation gain is ~1280 feet with 1-3 hour total climb time. Camping is located at the lakes with great natural brook trout fishing in both lakes.
NOTE: Trip reports were previously called "Summit Logs" - same feature, new name
There are 2 trip reports for Folger Peak.

Paul Fenwick on Jan 06, 2002Easy hike hike hindered only by altitude. Access to the summit is made straight from Highland Lakes road at the trialhead to the Carson Iceburg Wilderness. Is a great first time summit for someone....
- Log #16995 - by Vivi Fenwick on Dec 31, 2001Gorgeous views of Highland Lakes as you reach the summit. Established trail most of the way up.
