Thompson Peak

Thompson Peak is the highest point in the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area. Shortest approach is from the north via Grizzly Lake. It's a nine mile hike from trailhead to Gizzly Lake where an hour or two walkup puts you on top of large slabs of granite and view you'll never forget.

    Im not sure if I signed the right log book up there. There was a little notepad that I signed my name to. Later that day a friend told me that there was also an official registry in the metal box...

    Highest in the Sawtooth Range (10751)- this is a fun easy scramble with a short little boulder move onto the summit.
