Paldor

trekking peak. easily accessible from kathmandu, but a better walk in is along the tiru danda ridge. not at all popular, but for no good reason - a fine peak, isolated, quiet, a variety of routes at all grades, glacier and avalanche danger minimal

poor snow conditions and scary noises from under our feet in 97 led to a retreat - shame as the route would normally have been a doddle.
