Thanks to Daniel Shu for adding this peak.

A journey up this mountain will usually be described into 3 parts. 1st part is about 70 degrees hike , 2nd part is after 2 small huts, will be easier hike !! after the 2nd part , u will reach a plain , a little lower than the peak , that place is for campers to camp there. 3rd part will be the way up to the summit !! The peak is a natural stacked up boulders. It doesn't need rock climbing because there are ladders for climbers. it's a beautiful scenery up there. But always take precautions , the summit can only fit around 10 to 12 persons !!!!

Sorry, we don't currently have the latitude and longitude of Gunung Datuk in our database. Therefore we can't show this peak on a map.

The climb wasn't too difficult. We took 2 hours to climb up and 1.5 hours down. The ladders were a little rusty and shaky.

Takes about 2 hours to get to the top if you lugging supplies for a overnight. Both times I started the climb at about 10pm, arriving just short of midnight. The peak however, registers only 2425feet...
