I started out in early afternoon with clear skies. Nice trail, no problems encountered. Passed about 4 to 5 other parties already coming down. Had the summit all to myself. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to reach summit. Beautiful views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Shuksan, Mt. Slesse, (and many other peaks in North Cascade range that I couldn't identify - Pickett range?) to the south. Fraser River valley, Harrison Lake, other Canadian peaks to the north. Full 360 degree panorama. Well worth the trip. Road to trailhead a bit rough. Suggest 4-wheel drive (which I had). Passed 2 parties still going up on my way down. I would guess about 6 miles round trip. Trip reports I saw were in kilometers, and I'm a Yank so I made guesses as to conversions. I highly recommend this hike!
