Spent two nights in Penitentes, three nights in Confluencia and five nights in Plaza del Mulas. Carried two loads up to Nido de Condores with one rest day in between before we established on Nido. On the first day on the mountain we had to carry an argentinian guide with HACE down from Alaska. He was guiding an South African groupe. We spent three nigts on Nido with one day with load carrying to Berlin. Summit day started at 5 am from Berlin, the condisions were very good. No wind, no clouds and not so cold. The snow condision were good. I climed the Canaleta in two houers. Take the right side. The feeling looking down the south wall from Cresta de Guanaco was breathtaking. I reached the summit at 1130. I had no problem due to very good acclimatisation. TAKE IT EASY, THIS IS A VERY BIG MOUNTAIN!!
