Climbing Mount Olympus has been a magical experience, and this coming from an absolute mountain greenhorn. We did Prionia-Skala-Refuge A on the first day, Refuge A-Agios Dionisos Monastery on the next. We were blessed with fantastic weather, and the hike was quite easy, save the last 150 meters to Skala, which took a lot of effort, but is not really dangerous in any way. However, even peeking at the way to Mytikas through Kakia Skala made my head spin! I'd like to thank everybody who took the time to write their experience here, it was very helpful! And words are not enough for the Zolotas family running Refuge A, they are doing a great job. And a special thanks to my girlfriend who insisted on doing it! Marci, you were right, it was more than I ever expected...
