Jay Peak

Jay Peak is a beautiful skiing peak on Vermont/Canadian border. Views Montreal to the north, Mount Mansfield to the south, New York state to the west, and White Mountains to the East. Looks straight down on the Mud River valley that flows under the railroad track and into the pond in the middle of the Town of Newport Center. I have many memories of that little spot of northern New England. Some fond and some not so fond but none that would stop me from returning. (maybe not in Jan or Feb. brrrrrrrrrr.) Best wishes to all travelers of the web that pass this way and warmest regards to my family and friends that still remain to this day.

Climbed and skied by yours truly in "61" "62" "63". (if my memory serves me correctly) Beautiful peak in Northern Vermont that sits astride the Canadian/US boarder....
