Nevado Purace

This is a good acclimitization peak for those who are heading to higher peaks elsewhere. It is also a good climb in it's own right. There are some nice swimming pool size hot springs on the road near Cruz Mina. There seems to be no permanent snow, but the mountian is snow capped for part of the year.

    Nice climb and hot springs. It can be done in one full day. Take a bus from Popayan to Cruz Mina.
