Thanks to michael bridge for adding this peak.

Picos Del Infierno is a large shapely massif that sits hidden among icy cwms. The summit is a long knife edge ridge with a large limestone face set amongst much darker rock. all approaches to the summit involve long tiresome climbs up glacial valleys(pathless on the western side) and then easy but exposed scrambling over very loose rock on very narrow ridges. on western approaches peace and quite is assured. all other faces and ridges require little more than difficult scrambling to be ascended but all are at the peril of serious rock fall.
