The 2,757 meter Rötihorn has a striking, rocky face rising dramatically from the valley in Grindelwald, Switzerland. There is also at least one gigantic glacier sliding down it's slopes, and is plainly seen from downtown Grindelwald. It is a gorgeous mountian, especially when blanketed with the snow and ice of harsh alpine winters. During the summer, this area is a popular tourist hotspot for it's outstanding scenary and rugged peaks, including the nearby and famous Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. In winter, it is almost just as busy with skiers and winter-time adventure seekers. This area is surely one of the most beautiful in Switzerland.
