I have really been saving Rundle for a full traverse, but this is a nice short one for novices or if you just need exercise. Almost winter conditions present in the middle of June, 2003 at 8500' equals the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Park at Goat Creek and start up for the road just north of the parking lot. There is a trail that peters out somewhat at the top. However, with decent visibility, you should find your way to the right and gain the ridge for the final push to the summit. It appears the eastern summit is 1-10 feet higher than the western summit. You should do both, so you can sleep at night.
