Climbed the west slopes route from Lead King Basin with daughter Trisha. There were wildflowers everywhere. Gorgeous morning, but the afternoon turned cloudy and rainy. We climbed the northernmost gully on the west face, got off-route, and ended up wrapping around to the north of the summit and climbing over two or three ridge points before reaching the summit. It took us much longer than expected. We descended via the southernmost of the gullies, to avoid downclimbing the Class 4 moves required to reach the summit. Saw only 7 other people the entire day, 4 of whom summitted. A very long day, but a satisfying and spectacular summit. Fourteener #30 for me.
