Mount Cautley is located on the borders of Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park in British Columbia and Banff National Park in Alberta. The summit lies between Assiniboine Pass and Wonder Pass. The usually ascent/descent is made from the BC side, and is usually scrambled as a day trip from Magog Lake.
