One of several peaks in Utah bearing the name Bald Mountain, this one is the tallest. It's a short, simple hike (about 2 miles each way) to the top, but the view is absolutely stunning. Snow on the trail until July, then the trail is a walk up. Earlier in the year it is a scramble between the good trail sections as parts of the trail are cutoff by snow fields. The top is a bit of scrambling no matter when you hike it.
NOTE: Trip reports were previously called "Summit Logs" - same feature, new name

- Log #18643 - by Greg Andersom on Oct 10, 2004Nice little hike with wonderful views at the summit. I had the mountain yo myself due to inclement weather, but a good conditioning hike none-the-less.
- Log #18644 - by Scott Patterson on Mar 15, 2004Climbed it many times and I've also written a guide book on the area (Western Uinta Backcountry Guide).
- Log #18645 - by Billy Braxton on Feb 29, 2004I used a snowmobile for the approach then we skied to the summit. This peak is a ton of fun in the winter and summer.
