Thanks to Staff-Sergeant for adding this peak.
A part of the exiting Nantlle Ridge which extends from Rhyd-Ddu to Nebo and which affords marvellous views of Mynydd Mawr and the Snowdon range, Cwm Pennant and the Llyn Peninsula. The summit sports a magnificent tower of slate constructed by the workmen of the long defunct Prince of Wales Quarry to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Mynydd Tal-y-Mignedd is joined to the neighbouring peaks, Trum-y-Ddysgl and Craig Cwm Silyn by narrow ridges with sheer drops on either side. Particular care is needed in wintry conditions.
Thanks to Staff-Sergeant for this description.
