Mount Temple Trip Report (#7335)

Great climb! Route was clear, only had to traverse one small gulley with snow. View from the summit was amazing even with the cloud deck just above the summit (Mt. Victoria's summit below us was in cloud, but Temple seemed to push the weather up over itself). Temperature about 4 or 5 degrees C with a moderate wind. I will definitely go back. With a large group, the cliff bands present some serious falling rock hazards (I have a fractured finger to demonstrate it). Higher scramblers need to pay special attention not to move when those below are in or near their fall line. Rocks seemed to go tumbling more easily on this mountain than most moderate scrambles.
