Surely the best place to have a look at Matterhorn and Lion's ridge. Normal route quoted PD+, 5 hours 30 walk and climb from Aoste hut, 1400 m dip, first on glacier then mixed ice and rock.

- Log #22216 - by Christine Theodorovics on Aug 05, 2011Climb from Rifugio d'Aosta. Very nice climbing at the crest. Part with the fixed ropes least nice piece of the climb. As from there great and awesome views all the way up.
