Buffalo Mountain

Buffalo Mountain's peak can be seen from over 30 miles away. Now a nature preserve, the trail leading to the summit is approximately one mile long and very steep for much of the way. Years ago there was a observation tower on the summit used to spot forest fires. This is no longer there. This is a great peak to climb to picnic and enjoy the view of Floyd County.
