Buckhorn Knob

Very steep climb to the top over a very thick and wooded area. There are many tall limestone outcrops which can provide for technical climbing. Base of mountain is around 2400 feet. Peak of mountain is 4069 feet. It lies on the Mercer County, West Virgina (Oakvale Quad) and Bland/Giles County, Virginia line. This is the highest point on the East River Mountain Range.
