There's still quite a bit of snow, the switchbacks were completely covered which made the climb to Trail Crest quite a workout. Once we summited all the work was worth it, visibility was fantastic, the weather was absolutly gorgeous! I would advise bringing a tent if you plan on camping at Trail Camp in the next 3 weeks or so. My Gortex biby sack had a pretty solid layer of ice both mornings. If you are camping at Trail Camp, I would also advise starting your summit climb early in the morning, we ascended the face in the burning sun, one member of the team had a minor heat stroke as a result. We all made it though, and I must admit it was one of the best climbs that I've done! Enjoy.
