I have a hugh fear of heights that you can fall from and live ... at and above the ropes we encountered a deep ice/snow field. The kind you place one foot in front of the other and hope you don't go down the side of the mountain. I cried the whole 20 minutes it took to cross it. We were celebrating on top eating Twizzlers, when a fast approaching storm told us and two others on top to move on. The lightning was there in less than 15 minutes and it was a run for all of us. The one guy actually had the hair on his arms standing up from the charge in the air. We ran back across the ice field .. no problem this time. I realize that as afraid of heights that I am .. being struck by lightning is worse. Life is all perspective!
